ROVs (Remotely Operated Vehicle)

ROVs are submersible vehicles remotely operated by professionals onboard of a vessel, equipped with video cameras and sensors, and function to supervise and intervene in exploration and production from 0 to 3,000 meters. We have a diverse ROV fleet of inspection and intervention in shallow and deep waters, with a projected resources range to maximize operation productivity and to facilitate maintenance and repair activities.

Oceânica, aiming to improve even more its project delivery, understood that the market was in a natural migration to robotics, given the restriction of dives deeper than 300 meters for divers and that these operations were becoming more and more necessary in pre-salt exploration. From that, arose Diverless Project, with the development of exclusive tools to incorporate to ROVs, replaces the diver in inspections that go from 0 to 3,000 meters, focusing on project integrity and employee safety.

Labor has become hybrid and highly qualified, performing in diving and ROVs maneuvering.

Oceânica belongs to the select group of companies that operates Work Class ROVs which can perform several tasks at depths of up to 3,000m.

Currently, Oceânica is the only Brazilian company with inspection and intervention contracts using ROVs from 0 to 3,000 meters depth.
